Damon carried Bonnie away from the others and as soon as he was a good distance away, he took off as fast as he could. He didn't spot too many dinosaurs on the way which was good. He headed straight for his cottage - the mini castle as he liked to think of it.

Damon noticed that all the lights were off when he neared the cottage, in fact he noticed that all the lights in the castle seemed to be off as well; it was very, very dark, not that, that was a problem for him since he was a vampire.

Damon carried her in and brought her to his room, it was then that she finally spoke and for a second he thought that maybe she was coming to it. "Bonnie," he said in a concerned voice as he set her down on his bed. He placed a hand over her face, she was still out. At this point Damon was glad that his roommate Locke seemed to be gone, actually he hadn't seem the other man in quite some time and wondered what ever happened to him.

She felt herself drifting in and out of conciousness, and the voice seemed soothing in a way, but she was not sure why. The movement continued and then stopped suddenly, and for a moment she worried that she had died or something, but she knew she couldn't be since she was still breathing, or she thought she was.

Her eyes fluttered open when she felt a cold hand on her face and a concerned voice speak to her. Everything seemed blurry as her eyes got adjusted to the dark and it felt quiter than normal. She knew she was not outside. If she was she knew she would have heard the crackling of the fire dying down and voices. She could see it was very dark and she knew why, but decided not to dwell on that. Slowly everything came into focus and she made eye contact with Damon and by her expression she seemed very out of it. She tried to sit up, but the room started to spin, and she fell backwards.

"D-Damon? Where am I, and what happened? Did we put the fire out in time?"

"There you are," he smiled as he looked down at her. "Yea, fire's gone and we're are my place, but it seems like the power is out, at least I assumed it was as I see no lighters anywhere. Still have to actually check, but haven't had the time yet." Making sure she was ok was more important then some stupid lights.

"I think you drained yourself, you're still knew to all of this and that was a bit much. You should be ok, at least I think. I don't know much about this stuff but a bit. Have had some witch friends before, even dated one once." Of course the witch was no Katherine, but he did have fun with her, though, for the most part he only used her to try and find out how to break the spell and get Katherine out.

She felt groggy as she looked up at him. She ran a hand through her wavy dark hair and tried to ignore the throbbing headache she was now starting to feel. "Yeah, I am here. At least I think so. We are at your place?" She asked, surprise showing in her voice. She looked around and not being able to see, she focused on Damon's voice despite she could not really see him. She could sense he was worried though. "I wonder what caused the power outage. I would use a spell to make the candles burn if you have any, but I have a feeling you are going to say no to that ( ... )
