To say that John was jumpy, was an understatement. He had been in hiding  most time since he killed Sally, but his food resources had ran out, so he desided to head to the kitchen. One thing

Ianto had wandered toward the kitchen, looking forward to making himself some coffee before going to one of the quiet rooms in the castle to sit around and read. It would probably seem quite boring to most, but that was the plan he was sticking to unless something else came along to occupy his time with.

As he entered the kitchen he noticed John sitting on the counter. He was slightly tempted to just forget about the coffee, but he figured that he could handle being around John for a short time before going off to do what he'd planned on. Glancing at him a little longer as he gathered what he needed to prepare some coffee, John appeared to be a bit tense and somewhat lost in thought. Ianto wasn't sure if he should try and strike up a conversation or not, so he continued with what he was doing and silently left that up to John to decide.

And John did. When Ianto entered, he looked up, popping the last grape in his mouth. "Eyecandy!" he exclaimed, relaxing some. "What you up to? Wandering around? heard any new or something exciting going on, Hm?" he needed to know if anyone had discovered the dead girl before the unicorns came.

Ianto looked over at John, "That's quite a lot of questions to throw at me all at once. However, I just came in here to make myself some coffee. I haven't really wandered around anywhere besides places inside the castle today. And I don't know if there's anything new or exciting going on 'round here since you're the first person I've run into today."

"Well." he hopped off the counter, moving over to the taller man. "Got to do something to distract you." he chuckled, taking one of the cups. "Jack keep bragging about you Coffey, so why don't you move that delicious bum of yours and make some." he gave Ianto's backside a pat.
