what a fabulous chapter. i was especially impressed with how you worked aragorn's thoughts into the scene where frodo nearly loses the ring to gondor. i was enrapt in reading how the ring was tempting aragorn, and how shaken he was to think of using the ring to change legolas' attitude toward his misery... and when i realized where they were, that frodo was about to fall, i got little shivers. just perfect! i always look forward to reading your updates.

I finally had a moment to sit down to read where I left off in this incredible tale. So many who commented before me have touched on the things I wanted to say, so I won't repeat them all here except to say how shocking it was that Aragorn might actually have considered, even for just a small moment, that he could make Legolas ENJOY the torment!

Thanks for the good work. I'll keep working on catching up!

Hi, again! What a rare treat to get such a nice review for a chapter posted months ago! As for Aragorn's temptation: well, the ring goes for that what each character desires most. and for Aragorn, to have Legolas not only forever and bound to him, but actuially also ennjoying what he does, well, what better offer could there be?

Luckily, Aragorn has some strength in him to resist the offer...
