I can hardly miss her presense. If I did I would have to be blind, deaf, both or just a bad husband.

[He's willing to wait, but that indicator, however unintentional will be useful. However, there is a bit of a pause afterwards. He doesn't honestly know, but can't condemn the worst notion either in regards to Kaoru.]

She hasn't been seen for a few days, I'm not sure to be honest. People probably thought she just wanted space after you left so haven't checked on her.
