[She sees the man with glasses, but does not understand.]

[She runs towards Himura, her arm outstretched to him.]

Himura!

[The tall figure's eyes raise to bore into her before he completely vanishes, leaving Kenshin still kneeling alone.]

[And he rises, hearing his name, but as he turns toward her everything shifts in the darkness--streets and buildings seem to form, recognizable as Kyoto.]

[And he turns to face her, eyes dead, face emotionless. Whistles can be heard in the distance along with sounds of yelling.]

[When he speaks the seeming soullessness bleeds from his tone.]

Go back the way you came, and you'll live.

[Voices can be heard coming closer, the words 'hitokiri' and 'Battousai' can be heard.]
