You have my condolences during this time. Just from your blog entries, your mentioning routines like walking Harley came off as such a steady and positive part of a (forgive me for saying so) overwhelmingly torrid life. And it seems that she lived with people who cared about her. I'll actually miss even reading about Harley. I'm sorry for your loss.
Thanks for your condolences. Harley was certainly one of the most consistent parts of the entire family's life, including my own.
I always knew she wouldn't live as long as I did, but seriously--a slipped disc AND a fever AND some mysterious brain/eye problem is NOT the ideal way for anyone to leave this world, let alone my harmless little mutt.
I'm a little amused to see my life described as "torrid." I think it's maybe an eight out of ten on the "drastic" scale, but I'm probably not the best judge because I'm living it.
