Are you imagining me with stars for eyes? Because I will have stars for eyes. I will also probably be approached by a police officer or three and asked why I'm taking so many pictures.
I want to go on an SH picture tour or something :|
You wanna know the even better part? With how many locations are actually REAL in SiH, and the fact that the guys are somewhat modeled after the Kadokawa Shoten shojo editors, I can't help imagine Nakamura-sensei stalking them through Tokyo, getting on the same trains and sitting within view while wearing large sunglasses and possibly a hat for a disguise as she furiously scribbles notes.
Wow, this is reaching Haruhi level of referencing real life locations. I wonder if the Japanese fans are noticing this as well.
Just curious: If Marukawa is stand-in for RL Kadokawa and the boys live near Sengoku station, they would have to change the subway once to get to work, wouldn't they? Doesn't sound comfortable for sleeping on the train as Masa did in his chapter :')
It's actually a really really short commute; Sengoku's Mita Line is only 2 stops (~5 min total) from Kasuga, which changes to the Oedo Line and is then only 1 stop from Iidabashi.
...So I don't even know how he had time to fall asleep let alone STAY asleep XD;;; I don't think Nakamura thought that through enough.
There was also the time Ritsu fell asleep on Masa's shoulder too. Oh well...
I have another thing to bother you about. Is there any hill around the Sengoku station? From the satellite, Tokyo is so densely covered by houses that it's nigh impossible to make out the terrain. I found on Streetview a building looking kind of similar to how Masa and Ritsu's apartment building is depicted in the anime but it doesn't look like it's up a hill.
