The first thing Aiden did was kill all the lights. Then she took a spot behind the counter and kept the gun level at the door. But she knew that she wasn't dealing with human intruders here. Should they get in she wondered if a bullet would be enough to do the trick. Better to aim for the head she supposed, in case their hearts weren't in the right place.

Between the sonic boom, the alarm and Daniel's voice grating over the public address system, sleep was easily a loss. House wasn't exactly surprised that they were under attack; people with the sorts of funding and technology that these DHARMA researchers had often had friends in high places ( ... )

OOC: Yay, I've just been starting to watch House and have been hoping to get to rp w/ him.

IC:Aiden frowned angrily at House.

"The door goes to the outside. It's not a new moon out so there should be just enough light outside to silhouette them if they break in. I know where the door is but unless they have excellent night vision they won't be able to see my position, giving me the element of surprise." She got up and turned the lights back off. She returned to her post.

(OOC - since Daniel's two posts seem to put Jon in two different places at the same time, I'm going to go with him being in the security room, since he wasn't in the cafeteria before. Also, I just realized this, but Jon shouldn't know anything about the Wraith because he was created before the Atlantis mission started.)

Quentin wasted no time. After confirming with Sam where his weapon stash could be found, he double timed it to the security office, where he knew he'd be able to find Jon. He arrived just in time to catch the confused look on Jon's face.

"Wraith? What's a wraith besides one of those dark screeching flying things from Lord of the Rings?" Jon had just finished asking Daniel ( ... )

Actually, Daniel was talking to Jon through the PA in the Kitchen. Jon's been in the control room the whole time. :-) Also, as near as I can tell, Jon's only been played as confused and wanting answers. Which he is probably quite annoyed that he's not getting :-)

Blaise felt a twinge in his neck when he whipped his head around at the sound of the bunker door being thrown open. Who the fuck had picked now to leave the--McKay?

Yes, McKay, followed closely by May Parker--and the new woman, Isabel. Rodney looked terrified but oddly resolute. May looked a bit alarmed but mostly confused.

A hissing growl caught his attention next. Blaise got only a glimpse of Casper the Friendly Monster before it--he?--tackled one of the Wraiths, hissing and growling its displeasure. (Go, Casper!)

His radio crackled. "Blaise, status?. Dr. Jackson ( ... )

Dean heard Daniel over the loudspeaker. He immediately went into offensive mode. No clue where Sam was, (Shit, where's Sam?) and no time to worry about it. Dean grabbed the bag containing colt and book and ran for the west wing kitchen, shotgun in hand.

Sam entered the cafeteria and headed straight for the sink to try to clean up the cuts and scraps on his arms and face.

"Hey! Sammich, 'bout time you joined the fu...ck me! Sam, you ok?" Dean ran to Sam and tried to move his hands to examine the wounds.

"I'm fine, Dean. Just fine." Though Sam certianly didn't sound like he was fine.

"What happened?" Daniel asked.

"Tara just attacked me. Called me evil and said I was the 'darkness that people fear' or something like that."
