[Isabel] What a horrible man nohatmatt September 1 2006, 12:56:19 UTC
Isabel recoiled from the drunken man who entered the cafeteria and leered at her. A bottle of something sloshed in his hand, and he staggered around wildly, complaining about the strength of it. He was dressed like a pirate from a child's story.

She watched him while he leered around at every other female presence in the room, lip curled in disgust.

"If the rum is so strong," she said when his attention wandered back in her direction, "perhaps you should drink a bit less of it."

She almost lifted a hand and smashed the bottle, but a glance at Aiden convinced her this would be a bad idea so soon after the attack on Claire.

Not to mention that she'd have to clean up the broken glass and spilled rum afterward.

"Who are you anyway?" she asked. "And what's with that ridiculous hat?"

((OOC: Is Jack Sparrow armed?))

Aiden watched Jack enter. She smiled then pursed her lips to keep from laughing. He seemed harmless enough at the moment so started to rattle around in the kitchen. She was ready for lunch

"Tia who?" Aiden asked aloud. "And who are you anyway? A castaway from Fantasy Island?"

[Jack S.] You have heard of me, haven't you? rwarner September 2 2006, 04:27:17 UTC
Jack doffed his hat and bowed deeply - a little deeper than he'd intended, actually - and introduced himself to the two lovely ladies who'd asked after him. "Captain Jack Sparrow ish my name, my fair maidensh, Captain of the fastest ship in the Caribbean, the Black PearlJack couldn't help noticing that the dark haired woman stifled a giggle at his introduction, while the blonde had rolled her eyes and looked disgusted. Staggering over to the blonde, he leaned in close and waggled his finger in her face as he spoke. "I'll have you know, my dear lady, that I am not normally so grievously affected by rum. I am in fact rather familiar with it. This here rum, here in this here bottle here, it's been put upon by some curse, or poisoned, or some other fate so undeserving a poor defenseless bottle of Captain Morgan's finest ( ... )

Aiden raises an eyebrow.

"Spitting image huh?" she leand to the side slightly so as to look at Isabel. "Maybe were in dopplegang land?" she smirked at her.

She came back to look at Sparrow.

"Well Captain Sparrow,..." she thought for a second, Oh what the hell. I'm Detective Aiden Burn. And no, I'm not familiar with Tia Dalma. I don't think I've ever met a sorceress. A witch yes, but that hasn't turned out too well."

[Isabel] No actually I haven't heard of you nohatmatt September 2 2006, 06:32:05 UTC
"A sorceress, huh?" Isabel mused, wondering if this would be an appropriate moment to set Jack's ghastly hat on fire.

"Give me the rum, Captain Sparrow. I'll check it for you."

[Methos] ENTERING sophiedb September 3 2006, 10:07:41 UTC
After leaving Claire in the capable hands of her friend (who doth protest far too much)and House to his continuing inventory of the pharmacy, Methos looked around for a potential patient who wasn't either sleeping/unconscious or under lover-ly supervision. On finding none - though the miraculously-healed Quentin's whereabouts escaped him - he decided to take a break in the cafeteria. A cold beer would go down very nicely, if he could find one ( ... )

[Isabel] Not quite, unfortunately nohatmatt September 3 2006, 19:39:36 UTC
"Well I was going to see about taking the alcohol out of what's left of that bottle," Isabel said, "but your method has a certain direct appeal to it." She studied the newcomer, remembering that he'd been around when she'd first arrived. "I'm afraid I don't know who you are."

"Adam Pierson. Doctor, pirate wrangler.." Methos sniffed the open bottle appreciatively, then looked sideways at the young woman. He'd heard what she'd done to Claire from Damon and a little of her explanation from House (who'd been laughing hysterically at the time), and was rather suspicious himself. "As for extracting the, uh, alcohol - he'd only seek out some more, no matter how far away. Believe it or not, Jack Sparrow is more useful to us while drunk."

"Dare I ask how?" Aiden questioned Methos.

And what does everyone want for lunch anyway? You all think I'm just here to look good?" She put her hands on her hips, waiting for everyone's lunch orders.
