It's funny how the past few months or so people/organizations/businesses that have thought themselves SO BIG SO POPULAR are "suffering" because others without their heads up their rears are making a stand for what's right.
The extreme Teavangelical right has shown itself to have a positively genius-level ability to flip the terms of the debate - Christians are oppressed and marginalized, gays are bullies who want everyone to live by their moral code, people of color who bring up race are racists, unemployed 20-somethings sleeping in a tent in the town square are powerful threats to democracy but unlimited corporate spending is not.
NO THIS IS JUST WHAT IT FEELS LIKE WHEN YOU DON'T GET TO DICTATE THE TERMS OF THE CONVERSATION ANY MORE.
