I’m not sure if you know, but I’m a huge fan of detective fiction, especially of the classic ones, and I’ll grab any chance to talk about them, forgive me. And I’ve recently read Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, so I thought I’d post my thoughts on it.

Also, the reviews I've read are mostly positive, especially on JLM's rude, but (possibly?) more humane Holmes. I mean, it's the only part I'm iffy on Ben's Holmes; he can be downright cruel and unemotional and sociopathic. I've been reading ( Read more... )

What's the problem with UVLe? I've been downloading a 35.2 MB Physics probset for an hour already, and it's still at 58%. And I still have to wait 40 minutes for it to finish. Is my internet that slow?

Watched the first episode of BBC's Sherlock, and hotdamn WAS IT AWESOME! AND GAY! I'm still spazzing now so I'm incoherent.

My favorite character has to be Mrs. Hudson. Such a sweet woman, I love how she says "Sherlock!" in an exasperated voice. And *shock* she's a gay shipper!
