Yeah 50 years of waiting is short term pain for a Sox fan. When you can say you've have a bad century then you have felt the pain man.

Ah but you see, there's the out. Technically this is the first World Series for San Francisco at all. I don't count the titles the NY Giants won because those weren't out west. So it's more like they've been waiting since SF was founded in 1776!... of course by that logic Boston was founded in 1630... buuut that doesn't matter cause they won a World Series a couple of times since then. ;)
