A friend of mine from back home is Japanese-American. She is like 2nd or 3rd Gen American. Our area has very little in the way of ethnic diversity. She made a post about how when she went to see a performance at a local theater, the woman taking tickets assumed that A was an exchange student and how stupid that was.
