Aw, I like you how worked the prompt into the dialogue. And while I am SO waiting for them to jump each other, I think you're right - they have a good symmetrical friendship thing.
I also liked that you worked with Astoroth and the spread of demonic influence (all the way down to SF) as well as Vicki's deteriorating eyesight and Henry leaving. Nice use of the canon.

Glad you liked it! I love both these characters and have just lately devoured all the Blood books. I had difficulties figuring out where to go with this, but I think there is more to come :) Besides, I grew up in Toronto so getting Vicki back there will be easier to write!
