Okay, you are shockingly awesome. That was gorgeous! When I made that prompt, it was sort of a half formed fancy at the back of my mind and when I saw this posted, for a moment I thought "Seriously? Am I insane?" but that was just... perfect. You made them right for each other, you gave them backstory. It felt so real and believable and soft (which is NOT a word I would associate Eve Logan with!)

Just wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better response to my prompt! You're a star.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you liked it, considering you're probably the only one who's gonna read it. :P Inara and... who? And I like how you used a Gabrielle icon, because I realized as I was writing that Xena/Gab was definitely an inspiration to the dynamics I was going for in their backstory. I realized I'd have to make Eve a little softer than you think of her watching the movie, or it would be more of a raping-and-pillaging kind of story. She had to be someone Inara could realistically love.

Thanks for an awesome prompt!! Anyone who puts images of Christina Cox and Morena Baccarin together in my head deserves to have fic written on it...

God, it's pathetic! We're really going to have to convert some people to TCoR so they can enjoy this fic. And Eve in general! Plus, besides awesome fandom, this is a great fic! Needs wider audience.

Perhaps a repost at that Riddick comm? Ummm, whatsit... riddick_fanfic? And maybe riddick_verse? Could hook a few there.

There are Riddick comms? Cool. I'll have to check them out! (When I get back to proper internet. I'm traveling this week, and internet is random and far between...) I'll have to admit, though, the only reason I even know of Riddick is because of Christina. Her movie is the only one I've seen, and her storyline was the only one I really paid attention to. Well worth it, though, she tends to play awesome characters! And it's a cool sci-fi verse. Thanks for the suggestions!
