He very much resembles his portrait of himself that they publish in WSJ entries by him, or in the VJump colorful Bleach sidepanels. Just his hair is a tad longer.

He requested absolutely no (fan & press) photographs at all his appearances, and only the Viz people (and the members of his entourage/staff pack) could take photos/video. He was often surrounded by Viz employees narcing the shutterbugs away.

Wow. That is... like super undercover ops. I'm sure someone got a picture though. From far away and used zoom or something, because people don't listen. =o=

Yeah, a few people got past the narcs and scored probably a quick image past the crowd of onlookers.

It looked so awesome there! One of these days I will have to trek my way to SDCC or NYCC. And wow, that Jack Sparrow is amazing. @_@

...this could actually work. If the con doesn't happen before/too close to my last competition and there's a year where I can convince my parents to do a nostalgic road trip around California...

IT COULD WORK. Of course they might be scared about me going to a con alone in a city I was never really familiar with, so.
