GRAR HELP

HOW DO I INSTALL AIM ONTO A MAC? I keep clicking the installation button, but it keeps opening a crappy Excel file. I checked the AIM site, but it only gives support for Microsoft.

Do not tell me to get Trillian. I tried it once and didn't like it.

Never mind, I installed something else. Thanks to those that helped though.

You're going to need Adium. It's like Trillian but it's for Mac's. They don't have AIM software for Mac's last I heard of.

http://www.adiumx.com/ You can get it here for all programs.

Yeah, tried it again, and it's giving me a .bin file. When I click it, it's going to an excel file and being LAME.

When it opens as an excel file, that's because it's incompatible with a mac X_X;;;
http://www.aim.com/get_aim/mac/latest_macosx.adp

Download from THAT site, and follow the instructions :o When you open the file (after download completes, double click), just drop the little AIM icon into the "applications" folder, and it'll be automatically installed.

Did you grab it from here? They do have an FTP installer if you can't get the regular one to work. Maybe try that?

Trillian does take a bit of getting used to, although is ultimately worth it. LOL.

No, I don't want trillian or whatever it is for mac. I tried Trillian and it was a pain in the ass. I prefer having my seperate messengers.

And I went to the AIM links my friends gave me, but it did the same thing. I even tried the ftp file earlier, but it didn't work either.
