Fortunately for him -- and also for her -- she'd opted not to let her short attention span lead her away from the clocktower. This was where Yuri said he'd meet her, so Estelle simply had to stay. It unnerved her, slightly, being in a strange place surrounded by even stranger people, and from her place perched on a rock, she gripped the looking glass in her hands. Wonderland. What sort of place could it be?
She had so many questions to ask, but they could wait until she saw Yuri's face.
Rita, Karol... I hope you're all okay, the noble hoped to herself, averting her gaze to her knees. Wherever they were, she prayed they were safe, or at least together. Being reunited with Yuri was all Estelle needed to feel secure, and the girl glanced up again, expecting that familiar long hair soon.
It didn't take all too long for him to catch a glimpse of that all too familiar pink hair. He was happy to see that, for once, she'd actually listened to him about staying put. Trying to find a princess in strange new world wasn't something he would've really been thrilled about.
Yuri started heading over towards her. He still wished that Estelle would've been left out of this whole thing. At the very least, her presence gave him all the more motivation to figure someway to get out of this place. Especially if they were in different fractions. Killing Estelle was not something he ever wanted to do, and he might not even have a choice about it.
At the sound of footsteps, Estelle lifted her gaze, her expression going from somber to excitement to relief almost immediately.
"Yuri!" she cried out, pushing off the rock and jogging toward him. Once the girl was close enough, she pressed her hands to Yuri's chest, looking him over for injuries out of instinct, despite his earlier reassurance. "I'm so happy you're here..." A look downward.
When she was fairly close to him, he stopped walking. A mildly amused expression crossed Yuri's face at Estelle's way too predictable actions. While he had expected her to do that whole looking him over thing, he still wished she'd have listened when he said he was fine.
When Estelle glanced down, his amusement faded. Yuri nodded lightly after she said that second part. "Yeah, I that's what I thought, too." Hoped, actually. Oh well, at least no one else was here and, dammit, it had better stay that way. "I think it's just you and me here, though."
