Unfortunately it seemed that Jade had been one to wander by and stop in. He said nothing at first, simply watching her as she practiced on her own. She seemed to be skilled enough and he could see the depths of that skill, even if she did seem a bit rusty here and there.

"I see you're pretty decent at that, actually. How has the training been coming?"

He didn't let on one way or another as to whatever intentions he may have had or even if he knew anything about his shifter or how to fight in the first place. Such information wasn't really necessary as far as he saw it.

Not for the time being, at least. So that only meant that he probably had something either up his sleeve or planned. Either way it was probably going to be something only he saw the humour in.

She turned at the sound of his vice, lowering her sword, and smiling cheerfully.

"Thanks. Honestly, its been a long time since I went to battle with a blade in hand."

She gave her visitor an appraising look, then extended a hand in greeting. "My name is Hungary. Did you come as a sparring partner of a student?" She would welcome either one. There are only so many practices you can do on your own.

"With enough practice you look like you'll be well on your way to becoming as formidable you probably once were."

Smiling in a pleasant enough manner, he reached out and shook her hand. "A pleasure to meet ou, Hungary. I'm Jade Curtiss."

There was no immediate answer to the question other than a pleasant smile for the time being. "Which do you think I would be?"

And educated guesses are go, because this Mun is too lazy to look up his canon. warrior_maid April 18 2010, 09:48:43 UTC
"The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Curtiss." After shaking his hand, she gave him an amused smile. So he wanted her to guess did he? Well, she would just have to oblige him. He was the guest, after all. She began to walk in a slow circle around him, sizing him up.

"Hmmm... by your outward appearance, you don't seem like a warrior. More of a scholar maybe. But you carry yourself with a certain...confidence. And your movements are graceful...." She considered these observations for a moment.

"So I'm going to guess student. Or maybe someone who just needs to figure out their shifter?"

It didn't take long for Roy to find the house. It was distinct: white picket fence, quaint, simple, and inviting - exactly what he wasn't used to being around. The change in scenery was odd but not unwelcome.

He lounged by the gate, leaning on it and watching as she deftly wielded her sword. If he'd been any less used to combat and seeing such moves, he'd be amazed. Instead, he waited for a bit and clapped, a smile on his lips.

Turning at the sound of the clapping, she smiled at her guest and gave him a playful curtesy in response to his applause. "Thank you for the generous assessment."

She gestured at the lawn in front of her. "Please come in. Join me. Are you here as a student or just looking for a little exercise?"

"Looking for a little exercise, miss. I've been meaning to shake off this rust somehow." He stayed where he was for a moment, instead waving his arm to gesture at her sword. "Is that your Shifter? If I may inquire, how did you summon it?" He'd spent a few hours doing what he could think - alchemy, calling his shifter lovingly as he did for the looking glass, lame and embarrassing summons within the safety of the walls of his house - all to no avail. He was determined to get to the bottom of this one way or another.

Hungary held out the sword for him to examine. "Yes, it's actually a perfect copy of a sword I owned a long time ago." It made her wonder if the shifters had been designed for their owners, or simply adapted to the person weilding them.

"I just thought about what I would do to the people who brought me here, if I had a weapon. And then I met up with an old friend and we exchanged some blows." She considered the situation a moment.

"To be honest? I think they best respond to violence."

Rhode had found the house ever so easily. She had hoped the other woman would have lied about her location. Honestly, if everyone believe she an ordinary little girl then it would be their downfall.

Instead of immediately approaching the house, Rhode decided to observe Hungary's movements from a tree. She taken care not to make any sounds. She was delighted to find out the other woman was in fact quite gifted in the art of a sword.

'Well, this would be interesting' Rhode thought to herself a small smirk on her lips.

She carefully hopped out of the tree when the woman wasn't looking. She smoothed out her skirt and skipped toward the picket fence with a cheerful smile.

Hungary noticed the little girl skipping up to the gate out of the corner of her eye, but finished the set of moves she was practicing before turning to greet her. "Hello. Did you come for the lessons?"

She gave Hungary a tiny smile before nodding her head. She tucked her hands behind her back and looked around.

"Yes, I did. You're Miss Hungary, right? You me told you home was the one with a picket fence."

"That's right. Your name is Rhode, isn't it" What a sweet girl. She reminded Hungary a little of Liechtenstein. Gesturing towards the yard, she smiled warmly.

"Let's get started, shall we? Have you figured out your shifter yet?"
