It was rare for Yuri to look particularly serious or concerned about anything, but this whole situation with Rita definitely fit the bill. At first he had thought she was pulling his leg with that whole 'you know blastia?!' thing, but Rita wasn't nearly a good enough of an actress to pull that off. Or cruel enough to pretend she didn't know Estelle. Dammit, this all wa--

The sudden feeling of a hand coming in contact with his own jarred him from his thoughts. Yuri blinked before shifting his gaze from straight ahead and down towards the pink-haired princess beside him. Estelle was hurting the worst in this, he could tell.

Instead of giving her words of support or comfort like most people would, he simply kept silent while gently squeezing her hand. He just wasn't the type of person to tell someone 'it'll be alright' when he honestly didn't know it would be.

While Rita was looking for her new 'friends' from her mirror, she had to wonder a couple of things. She thought that if people are able to get here from different worlds, why not people who come from the same world? She had a theory but she wanted to make sure.

After a couple of minutes or so, the brunette was able to get to Grincat. There she saw that person she was talking to earlier with the girl.

"So..." She spoke. "Here I am."

Estelle glanced up immediately at the sound of footsteps, caught halfway between excitement and hopefulness. At the very least, Rita still looked the same way she'd left her, and still felt like her normal self. But something was off. She didn't greet them the way she might've usually, and the look in her eyes said more than Estelle could bear.

She released the hand she held captive, and took a step closer to her friend. "Rita..."

And the princess fell silent, unable to think of anything else to say.

When a few minutes had passed, an approaching figure caught his eye. Even from a distance, one could tell it was unmistakably Rita. As soon as the mage had come close enough, Yuri quickly scanned her over. Nothing looked particularly different or out of place, no visible injuries or anything, and she wasn't walking strangely.

Yet, her behavior made up for the lack of strangeness. It was almost as though... they really were complete strangers to her.

Once it become obvious that Estelle wasn't going to speak up any time soon, Yuri figured it was up to him to get this little chit-chat going. "We can see that." There was a brief pause before he spoke again, this time in a more serious tone. "Rita, do you seriously not know who we are?"
