Trust me, I'll be there when you need me. You'll be safe here...

The New Years party is coming along swimmingly, except for a few quickly-smoothed over snags regarding the osechi boxes. I'll be pleased to offer them, as well as other refreshments.

I understand the police have very few leads on the disappearances; what a depressing way to greet the New Year.

gaara plot, plot: gaara, kankurou, bonus: new years eve party

You should... maybe trust the police. They are our friends and very competent, for true...

I have been attempting to do so, and have not been rewarded.

Rewarded?

Why would you expect a reward? They are trying to do their jobs, but they are only human... accept that they are flawed, as you and all humans are, and be patient, perhaps?

A reward for my faith, perhaps. I am not a citizen of these United States, but I have given San Fransisco's finest my trust.

Maybe if someone gave them something to bite on, they could get a lead.

Maybe, but we won't get anywhere sitting on our hands and hoping something just... drops into our laps.
