Interfacing! If even THAT doesn't make your collar/lapel stiff enough.. um.. hide boning in it?

But seriously looks good so far :D I would agree with everyone about the interfacing thing for the lapel. I tend to use regular sew-in interfacing instead of iron-on because sometimes you can get weird bubbles if you aren't ironing it evenly. Also I don't think it's really washable if you use iron-on (I haven't tried but my friend said she had issues when she did).

Oh yeah I forgot to add - if you can't find sew-in interfacing then using like a stiffer fabric to reinforce it will be just fine too.

I'd never heard that about interfacing. But then, I've never really worked with it much. Thanks for the advice <3 I'll probably do some tests with my extras before diving in on the lapel.
