Over the course of this weekend, I've written 17,000 words on my Avenger Big Bang.

That's...more than the min word count alone!?

The entire fic is 123,000 words, 4k short of The Helix Trap, which was previously my longest fanfic. And I still have one more chapter to finish.

And the movie has already jossed ALL OF IT.

Hey croik? Just wondering if you could give a fellow fic writer some advice since I know you use tumblr too.

I'm writing a small fic for The Lorax. Do you think I should post it on my LJ and link it from tumblr? Tumblr doesn't seem to be great for long bits of text.

If it's more than 500 words or so, I'd say definitely post it on LJ or AO3 and just link from tumblr. Some people post epics in their tumblr, but for the most part a link is better, and it's easier for people to bookmark/Delicious and such. I think more people will reblog a link than they will a wall of text, too.
