wow. how did i miss this up until now? it's absolutely lovely. and so complex and heart-breaking. i particularly like how you end it, too, not completely "solving" the issue magically, but taking a step towards it and ending on a positive note. awesome job.

Thank you! I was really trying to be sensitive with the subject matter, so I felt like it was the most appropriate way to leave it. Glad you liked it <3

I loved this the first time I read it and now that you've had it all cleaned up and together, it's even more beautiful.

I love the internal struggle Eames goes through with Robert's issues. You just know that Robert means something precious to him if he's willing to put up and help with all those excess baggage. and the heartbreaking emotions both of them have.

Thank you.

I could go on for hours about Eames and Robert and what they mean to each other in my head canon, but suffice it to say I love this ship <3

Thanks for commenting!

Just so you know, I'd give up part of my spleen to be that proverbial wall you can use to bounce your ideas and theories off. And a willing pair of eyes to read what you can come up with through those hours and hours. I'd die a happy woman. XD

I love this ship, too, thanks to you. and you've made me obsessed with Tom Hardy. I blame you. completely.

I would apologize, but I'm not sorry >:3

Maybe I'll try to throw together some kind of ship manifesto. I don't think E/R has had one and it'll give me an excuse to go through my screenshots and links <3

Thank you so much <3 I just love this ship; they make so much sense to me, it still surprises me that it's not more popular. The implications behind the inception are just such fertile territory for fic! Gotta keep doing my part to spread the E/R love~

Just found this gem - it's really lovely. I love the idea that the downward spiral in part was caused by Eames himself and the inception. Great job.

Thank you! I'm still fascinated by the idea of inception itself, and it's been a lot of fun exploring the different side effects and outcomes.

Hi~I'm a Huge Inception fun frm China and i'm writing this to show how wonderful i think ur fanfic is!!

God i luv the way Eames luv Robert, and the way he cared about him here.

When i read this part,i feel like crying:

"So you haven't...talked about it, with anyone?" he asked carefully.

"I didn't want anyone to know." Robert tossed his orange peel onto the counter but kept the fruit, turning it over in his hands. "I didn't want you to know."

It was harder for Eames to mask his reaction--his arm tensed around Robert's waist and his brow furrowed. "Why not?"

"Because..." His voice lowered as if a sudden calm had come over him. "Because I don't want you to leave yet."

"I'm not that easy to scare off," said Eames.

"Yes you are." Robert plucked the orange apart slice by slice. "I've seen you thinking about it."Robert didn't want Eames to know his eating disorder, cuz he was so afraid that Eames will leave him alone. This part is really really sad ( ... )

Sure, I don't mind that at all. It's very flattering! I'm glad you enjoyed the fic so much and I'd love to see the translation.
