I am le frustrated! This internship is totally not in the bag, my friend, I am obviously way too young and unexperienced for it. But I TRY NONETHELESS!
Oh, Johnny Johnny Johnny. You've got to watch out for the short ones.
I hadn't noticed that natty little scarf before. I know Speirs has one which is very spiffy indeed, but somehow missed Johnny's. Looks sassy.
I love that argument he and the Brit in a tank have. (I love all the British minor characters on the show. They're all so adorably stereotypical.)
And I think you deserve some sort of prize for finding such a hilariously unflattering shot of Lt. Weenie there. Poor old Jones with his lack of experience or chin.
I hang my head in shame for being a graphic novel snob and never reading it before. I, like GASPED a few times when dramatic things happened, OMG hahahaha. Except I heard they're changing the ending in the film, DNW.
Is the 'V for Vendetta' novel better than the film? Because the only good thing about that was Stephen Fry. Oh and the 1812 Overture.
Except I heard they're changing the ending in the film WHAT? HOW?
I liked the roughness of the novel. Random musical notes in the middle what my favorite part. and the ending is better. but a lot of it is similar. hmm, now I need to think of other recommendations for you mwhahahaha
Moore also the graphic novel From Hell (that Johnny Depp Jack the Ripper movie) was based on. I haven't read it yet, though. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen book is so much better than the Hollywood movie based on it, though.
I heard that they're getting rid of the squid thing that Veidt had created to attack New York, and replacing it with a nuclear bomb. I think that kind of defeats the purpose, does it not? ISN'T THE WORLD MEANT TO BE UNITING AGAINST AN OUTSIDE THREAT?
IDK IDK that's just what I've gleaned off ONTD discussions on the film, hahahaha
Oooh, From Hell. I was one of the three people that liked that film. And I kind of liked the League film as well (awesome concept) because I'm a sucker for Sean Connery. Methinks a trip to the comic store is in order...
LOVE THIS AS USUAL. Of course you have all the best stuff, avec hilarious commentary.
My favorite Martin moment is probably the one you show from the end of Replacements, the gorgeous look he gives Bull when Bull comes back all alive and everything.
But a close second is the awesome glare at Webster in Last Patrol. I love that scene. How he absolutely spits out the names of his assault team, glares some more at Webster, keeps glaring as he addresses Winters, and then instantly shakes it off: "That's my team, sir." Like what? everything's cool here, IDEK what you're talking about. *g*

IKR? Especially whatshisface who, like, cracks onto Nix. HE'S VERY BRITISH.
Every shot of Lt. Weenie is unflattering. It's just his nature (OMG I'm meaner to him than I am to McClung hahahaha)
