i may have too - some friends are offering to take 'a bag of stuff' each so i may be covered

Ring the council TODAY, they will help you. They have emergency housing and will help you find somewhere suitable long term. Ring them every day until they give you something, they will take you seriously.

I would suggest ringing them would be a better option as you can really press the urgency of this.

i think i have sorted out a short term solution.

I can do you a room on a short term basis. You'd have to give me a hand to re-arrange things and move my band gear down to the living room, plus it is lined with (full) bookcases and the (closed) boxes of modelwear need to stay under the bed as I've no-where else to put them, but it's a decent size and 20 minutes brisk walk to the city centre, 25 to the station. 40 quid a week, all bills included, and use of washing machine as long as you buy your own detergent. Includes 10MB broadband Internet via Ethernet (I don't use or trust wireless, nor allow it on the internal network).

this souds like a plan, im going back to belfast until august / september so i may have fixed the problem at lest temporarly.
