Awwwwwwww! Sad! But that was my first thought when I walked out, too (well, after "HOLYSHITOHMYGOD"); if she doesn't tell Will, he's crushed, if she does, he's disgusted. Poor Lizzie :(
She could still feel the gentleness of his hands as he helped her into the boat
That made me 'awwww' so bad in the theatre. He saw her kissing Jack, but he was still so gentle as always...
Now you need to write the fic where they both realize they're still MADLY in love and make up :)
Elizabeth is really kinda screwed with Will at the moment, lol. Right now he's brokenhearted but he doesn't really think any less of her; if she's like "Hey, I still love you- but I chained your friend to a boat and left him to die", she's not going to get a much better reception, lol.
I think the saddest thing about that whole situation was Will took it like such a MAN. He just kept on going. He did exactly what he would have done even if he hadn't seen it, but you could see in his eyes that he was devastated.

LOL! I mean...oh no.
That is the saddest thing. He's SO in love with her, and SO crushed. But he didn't act petty toward her, he didn't call her on anything in front of the crew, he didn't even accuse her of anything. It's so heartbraking. Why must he be SO perfect?
So we want him to get everything he wants, lol? It wouldn't have been as devastating had he acted petty and childish. Will is truly a hero. Truly a man in every sense of the word. Truly strong and brave and graceful and selfless. And truly, TRULY in love with Elizabeth.
Aww soooo sad.. I love how Will is still gentlemanlike to Elizabeth no matter what.. In the end, it'll have to be Will/Elizabeth because she'll realize that Will an be adventurous like Jack but has more respect for her then Jack has. I want my own Will *pouts* Great chapter! It was sad, but amazingly well written
okay, i read both "just a blacksmith" and this one back to back. you totally broke my heart! but this was great, and so was the other piece. i hope you write more. `=D
