Again I say that it is absolutely horrifying that this fic is being ignored.

This breaks my heart, because I am thinking of that scene in the s4 finale and the subtext of it, and am convinced that Castiel truly desires this.

I've decided on not posting parts of this fic on the SPN comms while it remains WIP, so there's probably that as well. Neither 3 nor 4 is up.

Thank you for the praise. This fic's my bedtime dream-story lately. Despite this being set preS4, I've been trying to wrap it around all the current canon, so it's perfectly wonderful to read that it reminds you of s4 finale.

I owe all apparent profundities to every account I've read of Hell :p This story actually started as a retelling of a certain myth, but I think fandom myth-fusions spoils things by stating what it is in the summary...
