[As it's a lovely, sunny afternoon Raven has finally decided to start growing the seeds he received from Flonne last week. He's been out in the garden behind house 12 for the past two hours digging up the dirt, placing the seeds, watering the ground and generally making sure he's planting them in an area where they aren't going to be destroyed

I'd love ta see her again, but with the way things are right now. I don't wanna put her through that.

You mean the experiments and everything else that happens here?

[He's quiet for a moment.]

... you're right, it wouldn't be fair to expect someone else to go through all of that just because we wanted to see them again.

Not just that, the thing we talked about the other day.

Anyway, Casey's been dead fer ten years, probably wouldn't recognize an old man like me. I'd love her ta be able to continue livin' but not in a place like this.

Can't be selfish with things like this ya know?

Oh, r-right. I don't think wishing for her to still be alive is selfish at all, but... you're right. Wanting her to be here and getting experimented on would be selfish.

No no! Wishin' fer her ta be alive isn't selfish! I meant the experiments in a jar thing.

Ah well, nice ta know it's not just me goin' crazy at least I guess.

If you are, then everyone else here is going crazy too. I've heard a lot of people talking about seeing or hearing things lately.

Really? I haven't been payin' much attention to the journals this past week or so. [He looks at his newly soaked journal, yeah he won't be making another entry for a while.]

Think it might one of those experiments?

I don't know what else it could be-- this isn't like meat-eating butterflies from someone else's world.

Could just be us all finally losin' our common sense from bein' trapped inside a barrier in another world where we're experimented on, randomly kidnapped, tortured, oh and we all suddenly grew wings.

... y-you think we really are going crazy? But why would it be happening to everyone at the same time?

I think I like the idea of it being an experiment a lot better.

Yeah, then we can blame someone else for our mental issues.

You don't... think these really are ghosts that we're seeing and hearing... right?

Nope. Doesn't add up when ya think about it, how could a ghost from another world appear in this one without physically manifestin' with wings and stuff? Makes no sense ta me.
