You know, I saw more than a few parents showing up with their kids and putting them to work with peeling or cleaning veggies. If not just for yourself, volunteering at a food kitchen might be a good activity for your girls when they're older.

I read this while sitting on the 77 bus earlier today, and it made me smile. On the bus. It takes a lot to do that! :-)
