Some people are born to their faith. Others discover it after a long process of soul searching. Many never find it, and just get through life by force of personal will. Some would call that faith in itself.

Me? I had my faith provided by a website.

The really cool thing about this post, is something about the writing style -- I could actually hear the inflections in your voice telling this story. Neat.

But people do it anyway, because they love each other, and love makes us insane. And, for some reason, that insanity is worth celebrating. Perhaps because we're choosing to be insane, which is empowering, as opposed to being obligated towards insanity, which is just sad.

Y'know, my boyfriend keeps insisting that if we ever get married, it would have to be by a minister (I always assumed it would be my mom's boss, Da Judge, more to make her happy than anything else). If it turns out he does not have relatives in divinity school, as he keeps saying he might, I may put you on the short list of candidates.

if the boyfriend is fine with it, then I think it'd be awesome to participate.

though, out of curiosity, are the relatives really distant or is he just unclear as to whether cousin so-and-so is attending divinity school or just pursuing a religious studies degree?
