I basically agree with everything in this post (which is not surprising I guess?) (FUCKING EYE COLOUR. CONSTANT ISSUE FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS.) except the bit about the deaths (Fred, Remus & Tonks) because... honestly, when I read that last book, I almost missed the part where it said they were dead. Like, he just walked in and there they were lying among the dead and then he... you know? I did a double-take in the books so I thought they did it well enough in the movies and also the boys' reactions to Fred in the movieksjnfsgskfjgnh tearing up typing this comment, Rupert was amazing and also when I saw this post on tumblr I cried too >_>; Though I agree about the impact of Remus and Tonks' death being lessened because we never learn about their son. :(

Though, yay hello tentacles \o/ plus (like with the books themselves) I am sort of cheerfully glossing over the epilogue like it never happened~~~ delusion is bliss~ n_n

Also CREEPY CREEPY CREEPY CREEPY GUY GTFO OUR JAM'S HAIR DDDDDDD8 shuddering irl that is NARSTY.

I just remember having to stop for like ten minutes when I read about Fred, so I guess I expected to be just as hit in the movie. I just wish they had at least showed his face better.

I am so glad someone else thought of tentacles lol. And yup, I'm pretending the movie ended when it faded to black on the bridge. Because they made Ron look horrible.

Sob, I washed my hair like ten times.

HIS HUG WITH MALFOY. I laughed so hard, it was SO awkward.

I agree- Ginny's presence/love angle with Harry was so slim in this movie they could've cut all of it out tbh and it wouldn't make a difference.

Neville was suuch a badass in the movie *u*

and idk NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU BITCH was great ofc but I was a bit disappointed! I thought she would shout it louder, you know?

I just came back from seeing it again and you're right - the line was a bit of a let down. I didn't like how she delivered it.
