I should probably have had someone beta read this. I think the characterization is okay, given the circumstances, but a second opinion would probably have been good. But I just...couldn't. I have to not think about posting it here. We'll see if I work up the guts to post it to

THIS. Because Guy Gardner will try damned near anything that could be fun. Even if it is weird.

Really well done. Guy has that hidden soft side, where he likes to do things for people and make them feel good, and this whole story is a great example of that. Is it weird? Sure. But it makes Kyle happy.

*breathes a big sigh of relief*

I thought I'd gotten blase about all kinks, but this one managed to make me feel self-conscious posting it! Despite that, I'm pretty happy with how it came out, I just wasn't sure that people would buy Kyle being so uncertain and Guy being all soft. But Kyle was so embarrassed, so I ran with it.

Also, I have to laugh at how my brain has apparently decided that Kyle is the kinky one, and Guy is just the most good, giving, and game partner ever. *grins* Almost every kink fic I've written for them (including but not limited to the Kink Bingo responses) involves Kyle having a kink and Guy indulging it. LOL.

I wonder if Kyle is the kinky one because Guy's too straight-forward to think anything he does is really that kinky. He's a "regular guy." Surely other regular guys do this, because Guy knows he's awesome in that kick-that-guy's-ass-really-good sort of way, and, yeah, he knows he's a absolutely awesome in the bedroom, but that's because he's a GGG. He just doesn't know it.

This actually makes a huge amount of sense. To Guy, nothing is kinky, it's all just fun shit to do in the bedroom. Variety is the spice of life and all that jazz.

Going to agree with Guy here, that was both weird and surprisingly hot. I love how gentle you made him, just kind of drawing Kyle out. D'awwwww, Guy. D'awwwww, Kyle. It's okay.
