It's very exciting. I've found a place that will take the entertainment center, too! As a donation, but I just want it out of the apartment. As soon as we can rope tartary_lamb's parents into helping with transport, it shall be gone.

That's great that you've managed to get rid of the last piece.

Not quite rid of it yet, but at least I have somewhere to send it! It's only a matter of time.

Just saw this (made me realize how woefully behind I am on my flist). I knew about the couch but hadn't heard the description yet. I can't wait!!!

Also yay for space changes.

It is a beautiful couch. I <3 it. *g* They had a hell of a time getting it into the apartment, though. They had to take the legs off, and even then it squeezed through without so much as a millimeter to spare. If the upholstery hadn't been puffy and compressible, it wouldn't have made it!

Note to self: next time, measure the doorway to make sure the couch can fit through...

so you're going for a red theme? ...or a red and gold theme? *sets Iron Man soundtrack playing* ;P

*laughing* It's so true! I swear, I didn't pick red and gold because of Iron Man! *g* The old place was done up in blue, so I wanted to be different, and I didn't want to go green because the floor is brown and that would look a bit masculine to me. And red is my favorite color. And if I had the red in there, then I wanted a warm-but-pale color to complement it...

:-D
