I've never read steve/tony before. I don't really know much about them.

I read this on a warewolf whim if i'm honest, I have to say that.... DAMN that was hot!

Everything by elspethdixon and seanchai is awesome, but not always self-contained. Let's see...

The Roughest Day -- This one is almost totally self-contained, and it's one of my favorites stories, too.

King of Infinite Space -- This isn't exactly self-contained, in terms of canon, but I think the important parts of canon are pretty clearly explained within the story.

Hmmmm, other self-contained long ones. Define "long" in number of words? There aren't that many really epic stories, and most of them are by elspethdixon and seanchai. *g* There's an about-to-be-finished kid!fic by kijikun that's pretty good, but it's mostly about the kid, not the boys.

Moth, by pandanoai and axolotl_lan, is self-contained and lots of fun, but not only is it not finished, it's mpreg. Really fun and sweet mpreg, though! If you're willing to give it a shot, the index is here: Moth Index

If I can rec something of my own, Beneath the Armor is a favorite of mine. Totally self-contained and just over 9,000 words long. So not epic long, but decent

Hee! I considered explaining where Hank and Dr. Strange went, but decided it would end the fic on totally the wrong emotional note. So I left it, even though I knew people would wonder. Now I'm terribly tempted to write an outtake from their point of view. *g*

All the reasons why werewolf AUs are incredibly sexy to read and write. *g* And yet I think this is the first one I've written! (Well, I've written one other wereworld fic, but that was canon.) I had an immense amount of fun with it, especially writing Steve, who is usually inclined to be gentle and has to be pushed. Not this time. :-D

I considered it, and decided that in addition to Tony's obvious willingness, werewolf!Steve's instincts wouldn't be the least bit inclined toward regret that he'd staked a nice, firm claim on his mate. :-D
