For reasons that are f-locked--and a couple more reasons besides, almost all related to scheduling--today sucks. A lot. And I am dealing with it on a major sleep debt. So I hope you will excuse me if I do something I really try not to do, which is ask for fic ( Read more... )

The concept of light and dark is deeply entwined with their characters, isn't it? It's a fun theme to play on, I think, though I've never written these two.

Clark landed lightly, began to walk directly to the computer - he called it the BatComputer in his head - who didn't? - but he tried to pretend he didn't. Unless he was calling everything the Bat-whatever, and the one time he'd done that he'd got as far as the BatBed and the BatToothbrush when Bruce had threatened to stop speaking to him for 325 years.

Since Clark knew he would, he'd stopped doing it - maybe once, and it had made Dick laugh for half an hour, but seriously - BatBat was pretty good.

Two steps towards the computer he stopped and blinked.

"Are you poutingBruce turned towards him, stared at him in that Batman way for several seconds, then growled, "Are you kidding ( ... )
