It's been more than three weeks since I did a fic progress post, but there is a reason! I figured there was no point in updating people on my progress until I finished my gibbstony_athon story, since that was all I was working on. I can't figure out how to edit my own comment above ...
I just ran-across and reread "Found in the Compromise between Rain and Sun." I had forgotten you had written it (or rather it didn't register at the time that you had written it. I was just lost in remembering a part of the world I haven't been to in over 20 years. I went to university in Tacoma, WA and spent a couple of US Thanksgivings and Spring Breaks in Vancouver and/or Victoria.) All that to say, Oh yeah, you have gotten the boys on vacation in your own territory! Duh!

*grins* Yup! Usually I'm not much interested in bringing characters to my own home. The only thing special about that is knowing random details, and most of my readers aren't going to be able to recognize those details anyway.

And really, I just don't think about exciting, story-worthy things happening around here. *g*

TNYC: can't wait, I think about these people (whose shows I don't even watch) all the freakin' time. How pathetic is that?!

*laughs* No more pathetic than me buying the first season of a show I'd never seen (CSI:NY) just because I thought the lead might possibly work as a mate for a character (centaur!Don) I'd already written. *grins*

Flashfic "fire": well, there is the tried-and-true "disaster/fire at Tony's apartment so he has to camp out in Gibbs' 'guest' room" but that is a *lot* tried-and-true.

Yeah. Given that I've written a couple of "Tony stays with Gibbs" stories already, I think I better avoid that one. :-(

Maybe the reverse--Gibbs' house catches fire and he has to camp somewhere, preferably at Tony's? Or not. Bonfire at the beach? Sitting in front of the fireplace in a lodge at Whistler (get them on vacation in your own territory!)? A plan that backfires--but works out for the better anyway?I considered Gibbs at Tony's place, but to be honest, I don't think Tony would be his only option or his first choice. :-( ( ... )

Also. some of those bunnies do look fanscinating. But I refuse to tell you which ones and I refuse to show my excitement. Because apparently if I get excited about some fic idea I do not get it... for ages.

Hey, only the centaurs! And you know it's never intentional. It's just...I write them so much, sometimes it's hard to get motivated to write more of them. Especially when I have other, different bunnies nibbling at my brain.

I would like to hear which ones you find particularly interesting, even if I can't guarantee that they'll ever get written, given that the centaurs and the flashfic gets priority...
