Later I shall hopefully write about our amazing trip to the Queen Mary this weekend for Ghost Expo 2009! We had paranormal experiences~ The video on that page will give you a pretty good idea of all the stuff we saw, and I'll try to post the million pictures I have.

The Queen Mary, really? That's so cool! My mom is in love with that ship, I've stayed there a bunch of times.

I can see why she would be! I'm already ready to go back. :D It's so beautiful and wonderful and awe inspiring! This was my first time going, and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. I love how lived-in it all felt, like...authentic. Like, modern hotels all feel to me like no one's ever been in those rooms, kind of sterile. But our room and everything on the ship just felt like thousands of people had touched every item at some point. It was really neat.

And the depths of the ship were creepy as hell. :D Covered in rust and empty, quiet and dark, isolated...one of the best possible places to do some non-hokey ghost exploration! Have you guys ever done the Ghosts and Legends Tour? We didn't get to do that this go round, but the expo was cooler anyway. X3

Ahhh, ghost hunting! Fuck yeah! *A* I went last year, and it's. Awesome and creepy at the same time.

It was! We got to use the investigators' equipment too, but I'm one of the only people that got any results. We also heard a few noises that everyone said they didn't make.

We got tons of pictures of orbs; I'm not sure if we picked up anything on the recorders and videos cameras. I never asked.

Place was definitely haunted, though. Besides the fact it was the Poe Museum, I got the shakes really bad in certain rooms.

I got tons of orb pictures down in the cargo hold, on the very bottom of the ship where they kept the POWs in WWII. We're still trying to get our cassette to play so we can see if we got any audio on the tape recorder Idgie had, but I was using the divining rods and got LOTS of activity from those. :D

Poe Museum? You've piqued my curiosity. I had that happen when we were doing the seance down in the cargo hold, about a third of the way through I started shaking uncontrollably. The same thing has happened a few times when I was in a really cold, dark movie theater, though, so I don't know that it had anything to do with ghosts, heh.
