Damn you, Tales of the Abyss, why do you have a story hole? The start of the war made the whole story so... slow. It's starting to bore me :( (Jade and Natalia are still rocking everything, but still).

That said... all the talk about how "OMG we're killing humans!" is starting to annoy me. It's just... I do not give a fuck. The world hasn't managed

Now that you're past Akzeriuth, I'll just say that I'm one of those weird people who liked long-haired Luke more than the short-haired version. Sure, he was a jerk, but he was also a much more realistic and interesting character, imo :D

As for the story... um, personally, I play Tales games for the characters and their interactions with each other -- Abyss does have a sort of bland story, yeah, but I think the characters make up for that! Though I have to admit I'm not overly impressed by the worldbuilding in the series, either...

Also, Jade and Natalia are definitely awesome, yes~

Yeah, the characters > story (Though I liked ToS´s story very much. That game has a good balance. Let's not talk about ToS 2, though...). Yup, the worldbuilding could be better.

Tales of Vesperia had a... much more interesting take. They finally went beyond just 'killing humans.'

Vesperia is still my favorite game. ToS introduced me, so I have nostalgia love for it, TotA I still need to finish.

I've also been playing Radiant Mythology 3, for the PSP. It's... so awesome <3 It's a giant Tales Crossover. With characters from every game, from Phantasia to Graces. My party consists of the created character, Jade, Yuri Lowell, and Stahn.

ToS is far more balanced, I think.

Heee, that sounds fun 8D But. I don't own a PSP. It already took me ages to get a PS2 XD
