"The world is full enough of hurts and mischance without wars to multiply them." - JRR Tolkien

Consider this a pre-emptive strike to head off the war I know is on the horizon - quit giving Havoc shit about our relationship. I'm not going to put up with that from anyone not directly involved, so if you're not him, myself, or Ryuzaki please back off. And don't think of getting at Ryuzaki to make him deliver your opinions either, that's rude. ( Read more... )

anko, the bitch is back, on the defensive, havoc, ryuzaki, asuma, mustang, if you mess with my man

I did not know that it was so bad...
You are under a lot of stress... and I had no idea...

Just how many people are causing you trouble?

It didn't get bad until recently.
It's nothing you should concern yourself with, you have enough on your plate.

Two or thre, nothing I can't handle. Just felt like giving them fair warning.

On my plate...? It will be a big dinner tonight? The context suggests that you mean I have a lot of work, which is not so true at the moment. Things have slowed down.

You are sure you don't need help?

Right, I keep forgetting how literally you take everything. You're correct, I was saying you have been dealing with a lot and shouldn't have to deal with this as well.

At this point in time I think I've got it covered, and if not I'll let you and Jean help me.

There's a bit of a shadow of the girl I remember ♥

On a serious note -and yeah, I can do those too-, you do know that even if I may not like him and I've got no problem telling him this, as long as you're happy then that's what matters right?

It's just a lot to try and take in when I had figured my wedding invite was lost in the mail years ago and I had assumed you and Asuma had squirreled one another away and I'd have a few heathens hollering out for Auntie Anko by now.

Yeah, she likes to come out and play when properly motivated. ♥

I know you can do serious hon, you learned from a pro. I have no problem with you hating him, I can't make you two like each other no matter how hard I try. What I take issue with is the fact that you're not even being civil towards him and comparing him to the Sarutobi we kne before isn't exactly fair.

If it helps I kind of assumed by this stage in the game I'd be married to him and surrounded by his ankle-biter's too. Reality had a different idea though, and we're all going to have to adjust. There's no way I'd get married without you though, and any kids of mine would need their Auntie Anko.

That's good to know. Make's it easier when I know there's a good base to work with~

I don't hate him yet, I just don't like him. To be fair (you tell him this and I'll end you), he was already screwed from the get go just by being in the precinct they kicked me to - the fact that you two are shacked up was only icing on the cake. Do you know how many slack-jowled shit-heads I've had to deal with on all the assignments like this that I get? I've already got Mustang tossing out the 'little girl' horse shit, and the others will follow his lead if left unchecked. Even if they all hate me, they'll get the shit done if only to get me out of there sooner. It's a good system that's worked for me many times before and I'm not going to suddenly change to spare their oh so delicate feelings ( ... )

I love making things easier for you, it makes me feel complete~

[Private]I have no reason to tell him anything we discuss, we're not married. Also, we're not shacking up yet, we're working on it. We barely see each other outside of work between how screwed up things have gotten, me having Ryuzaki here, and the fact that he's one of Mustang's best men so living together is one way to ensure that I can get mine without humiliating him by dragging him into my office every chance I get. Here's a little warning - Mustang and most of the cops here are damn good at their jobs, they just get held back by Bradley dicking them around even if nobody wants to admit it. We also have a detective known as L working with the Force to help so don't discount them so easily. People feel tense, it's been bad ( ... )

Too late to hope you haven't blown an artery over this?

Don't worry, no arteries were harmed in the making of this announcement. As for anything getting blown...damnit, she's rubbing off on me already.

I can't see why you'd be, we both know that you and I together would never work out.

I said we'd never date, I never said we'd never have sex. Look, in ever Havoc were to dump me and you were there with a nice shoulder to cry on I'd go for it, but we could never be long term. We want different things.
