I never knew that things could change so quickly in a persons' life, but recent events have taught me otherwise. Between trips to lawyer's offices and other interesting locations I never thought I'd be visiting I find myself having to make a few adjustments

It will take getting used to... but you are very accommodating. I cannot believe that you will be my guardian, but there is no one else I would choose instead.

I don't know what kind of costume to wear... but I'll figure out something. You literally have no time... I figured it out just now. You are completely... "tapped", is the word, I think? At any rate, it is one thing you don't need to worry about.

Thank you. I will try not to be too demanding, or a hassle. I still feel somewhat confused as to why you are going to so much trouble, though... most people would drop someone like me and run... and you've let me draw equations all over my bedroom walls.

You could be a nurse... though someone could recognize you... and that wouldn't be desirable. I've not been... I usually just eat cake on Halloween. It is my birthday.

I'm sure you won't be nearly as much of a hassle as you apparently think you are. Honestly, it just feels right to help you, and it's hard for me to turn my back on someone who I feel I can help. I like the equations, they're nice and seem to be a comfort to you considering everything.

A nurse could work, although if it does turn out to be a Masquerade I'd need to be some sort of masked nurse. Halloween is your birthday? Maybe we should skip the city-wide party and just have a little something of our own.
