dude, i'm sorry i didn't read this earlier, i really am. the whole thing is incredible. the voice is both watson and gaiman, describing all the novelties of london below with the kind of clinical/romanticism of doyle. awesome. the adventure of it was great too! i think you did right by putting richenbach in and ignoring my skepticism. that was just the right ending for your battle. and to have watson and the marquis pull him up together! perfect.

and the sex was hot. it was like, appropriately posh and watson-sounding, but also hot like burning. guh. holmes. :D

Oh wow! It took me a bit but I got through the enite thing and I must say I LOVED it. I had never heard of Neverwhere before this but I think I'll have to check it out. I doubt it will compare to this though.

I finally got around to reading this, and I loved it dearly. You merged the two worlds wonderfully, and Watson is such a deeply sympathetic character that it's impossible not to fall for him.
