I have absolutely no idea where this is headed, but I have no words for how much I'm enjoying finding out. You've done a fantastic job of meshing Doyle's and Gaiman's worlds together, and I'm so glad that you're writing this.

I've fallen behind on reading this because life got unexpectedly busy, but I want you to know that I am still in awe of your talent for evoking poignant, strange, and lovely things.

Going to the next chapter now.

Aah! The end slays me. Sherlock's obsession in the books always made me sad for both him and Watson, but I like how you're keeping to that while putting a slightly more optimistic spin on it. And yeah, if Sherlock's gonna live through this, the only reason is because Watson won't let him die lol. And yeah, really like how you handled the explanation of Watson's powers. The guy is too nice for any world.

I like the tension over the war that is building at the same time their relationship is deepening. Oh wow! You just updated again! Awesome!!! But yes... damnit now I am distracted and cannot remember what else I was going to say! lol, uh... great job and thanks! XP

Yeah, I figured it was important to keep that - I read somewhere that bringing criminals to justice was Holmes' idée fixe, like his reason for being, and I felt that while Watson would tie him down more, he'd never let go of that need to get rid of Moriarty until he actually did. Watson's definitely the deciding point there though, as the man who can save Holmes from himself. :D

Thanks so much!
Lol. Sorry for distracting you :P I update like a ninja, sneaky and when you least expect it!

Holmes let out a breath of air and set my bag on the ground, before arching his back in a long and bone-cracking stretch, not unlike that of a cat just waking. He turned his keen grey eyes to me and offered me a small smile, the corners of his thin lips just barely turned up. "Not quite the usual adventure, eh Watson ( ... )
