Not so much a fan of the series anymore, but it was one of the first manga I ever read (Inuyasha was the first :p).

It's sad when people haven't seen/heard of Ranma. D: It's such a fun manga-- or at least it was up until about volume 20, when Takahashi started getting repetetive/too serious. I love Ryoga to bits, though I had a mad desire for him and Ranma to get together. (You saw that volume -- #19, I think it is -- where Ranma thinks he's in madly love with Ryoga? I squealed. BLATANT FANSERVICE FTW.)

In Finland I think most people at all interested in manga will know it, since manga only really started to become popular here about four years ago, and Ranma is the second (no wait, third? But the first was a single volume about twenty years ago :P) manga ever translated into Finnish. I never got around to reading the last volumes thought >_>...
I really liked that volume as well :D (I think it was the eleventh in the english translation?). Fanservice is nice ♥
Ranma was often awfully mean to Ryoga thought >:( (remember when he claimed to be his sister and Ryoga actually believed it? Aww...). I think that just made me ship them more, of course. ^_^;

Don't you guys get English-translated manga as well? Or is all the manga there Finnish? o.0 Hey, I'm just curious now, but since you're bilingual-- how do you feel reading the manga in different languages? A lot of my manga's in Chinese, and even when I can read it, sometimes I feel like it takes something away from the story. I mean, just the way that the language works-- what Hakkai and Gojyo say is minutely different depending on the translation.

Oh my gosh, yeah. I loved that story. I thought Ryoga was so sweet, and it was so horrible of Ranma to totally exploit him like he did. Did you see the one where Ryoga and Akane were going on a date, and Ranma dressed up and pretended to be Ryoga's secret admirer?
