Apparently, I was not following your gorgeous comm. I have remedied that. :)

That said, this post is STUNNING. I love LoTR 3, 4 and 8, GoT 14 (excuse your coloring talent), 19 and 20, all the SoA icons because holy witchcraft Batman how do you get that much color and light out of those caps?? I love what you did with silhoettes in your SPN stuff, especially 47 which is pretty god damn flawless and has amazing text work to boot.

This is such a gorgeous post! That duplicate silhouette effect of #58 is stunning, stunning, stunning! And 31? Seriously, so damn gorgeous I don't even have the words. The darker coloring (like 3, 18 and 61) are really pretty too and I absolutely adore the texture use on 54 and 59.

There are so many magic, gorgeous icons here. I don't even know where to begin. At the beginning is clearly the obvious answer#2 and #3 are just, wow. The lighting in both is incredible, and I love how #2 has such a darkness to it, then this incredible beautiful vibrancy that happens with Frodo's face. Then #3 is kind of the opposite, with some stunning shadow works in the face and a beautifully lit background, with just enough light on his face to work. They are both so incredible, and the lighting in both is particularly spectacular. Then you have #10, which is beautiful and muted and soft, with this real sense of movement to it that is insanely perfect. And #11 which is kind of the same - it's muted grey but it works so well, because it gives this regal, wise feel to the icon which is so fitting and perfect
