Anything--anything--to do with kiddie beauty pageants. If I catch a marathon of Toddlers and Tiaras or, god forbid, Little Miss Perfect, my ass is welded to the couch until it's over. I blame Living Dolls and poor little Swan Brooner. The shows are terrible, the parents are terrible, the judges are terrible,

OMG, last week I found myself watching Toddlers & Tiaras. I don't think I'd ever sat through a whole episode before. The parents....

The worst was the little girl whose mom kept jerking her around by the arm and everything. The mom ran a day care center.

The way the parents act is bad enough, but plenty of the moms seem to be ex-pageant stars themselves, and most of them look no better put together than I do now. What a future.

It's horrible, that poor kid. There's a blog somewhere (FourFour? Maybe?) who checks up every once in a while; that poor kid's mom died, and so she went to live with her dad, but then her dad died, and now she's living with her older sister. I hope her life only gets awesome from here on out.
