I feel like I need to talk about TV-I'm-Watching-That's-Not-The-Killing. Just to let you guys know I haven't been ignoring the rest of my fandoms.

→ SITCOMS. I feel like I can just lump most of these all together. I have missed a lot of Community and the idea of catching up is tiring. I have been like this pretty much since mid-season two and it ( Read more... )

Much to my surprise, I've really been loving Suburgatory and the recent Clueless crossovery arc, too. And I agree, Jane Levy is super adorable. :)

I feel like this show just sort of exists in its own little world. I love it.

Clueless crossover arc, you say? I may need to start watching this show!

Well, it's got Alicia Silverstone and Jeremy Sisto playing love interests and making a handful of Clueless references in the process. So much nostalgia. And they're adorable too, so that helps!

Don't even try to resist, dude, you can not escape the charms of New Girl. No one can. I've seen half of my flist follow the same trajectory this season. It's starts with "this show is the worst" proceeds to "oh, it's not so bad" before you finally reach "OMG, OBSESSED" which is basically where I started, but the Kool Aid tasted so good I couldn't help myself...

Best Friends Forever was one of my favorite new shows of the season. :(

I may not be able to resist, true. But based on my history with sitcoms, I can pretty safely say I won't reach obsession levels. What can I say? I like my dramas.

BEST FRIENDS FOREVER. I feel like I need to say more about this show and I think I'll re-watch just so that I can but I was super bummed it wasn't given more of a chance. SUPER BUMMED.

That was kinda awesome. Finally, Cher and Elton got together.

Hahaha, right? Although, admittedly, Elton is kind of a douche. But George can be a stand-in for "reformed Elton" and it's all good.

Yeah it is so strange. It is consistently good and funny (with the laughing!) but you don't really need to say much more than that?

Oh, Suburgatory, lol. I too love all the Clueless allusions. The first scene where George meets Alicia Silverstone's character, they played a Cranberries song and I couldn't stop laughing. Although then it got weird, 'cause in my head it was like:

HAHAHAHAHA, HE FORGOT HIS CRANBERRIES CD AND NEEDS TO GET IT BACK BEFORE SOMEONE SWIPES IT. OH YEAH REMEMBER WHEN ELTON TRIED TO SEXUALLY ASSULT CHER TO A CRANBERRIES SONG? .... oh boy, opps, bad place to go :\

I'm sad Best Friends Forever got cancelled, I liked it quite a bit :(
