It would definitely be a place they've never gone before. It would be very interesting to say the least!
I didn't even watch last year's finale of Community. I'll probably still watch just because I seriously am a big fan of John Goodman's and I want to see what they do with him and what they let him do. He could just be "grumpy guy in a suit" for the rest of the season though, which would be a vast under-use of his talents, although it would still fit his MO.
I agree, a poor start but still one of my favorites.
Actually, both Grey's and Parenthood had this weird feeling of starting in the middle of a season. Which is odd. Neither of the first two eps of either show felt like the start of a season.
idk about Alex/Mer. well since it didn't happen before it might as well happen now. I wanted Alex/virgin before he screwed it up. Lexie is my grey's anatomy multishipper character. I can pretty much see her with anyone and I know I'll love it.
It is time for some infidelity hi-jinks on this show. It's been a while. Is that shallow? If so, I am okay with that.
I used to love Lexie the best but I feel like the show ruined her for me. I would like to see her doing doctorly things and having scenes with her sister instead of hooking up. Her romance with Mark ended up feeling rushed and her romance with Jackson feels the same way. We never get to see her actually FALL for a person, so her romance storylines (which dominate almost all of her storylines) are boring to me. :(
I actually kind of ship Jackson/April, and I think they have a great friendship and it makes sense in my brain, but this show has kind of turned me off of shipping on a general level. I just watch for the tears, haha.
lol, I watch for the tears too, haha. I gave up on greys anatomy a few times before, but I can't resist catching up on it after season or mid-season ends.
Lexie is underused, she has her great photographic memory and they show us what? her having sex, then her having sex again, then her walking in the hall or in the emergency room, then her having sex again. lol. and I hate how she's never growing as a character, she's still the same little lexie we met forever ago.
Alex and Meredith....? Truthfully, the thought has never crossed my mind. I'm not against it. Just...well, it'd be interesting.
I really didn't like Meredith in the past two episodes. She went off her rocker. I understood a bit better at the end of the second episode that she did it all for her love of Zola and screwed up the trial for Adele and Richard. I can't believe that Richard took the fall for her. I still think Alex did the right thing by telling on her even if it screwed up her professional life and personal life.
It would be awesome if we could see Lexie be a doctor instead of having sex all the time like fever said. I would like to see her with Mark, but that's just me. :D
I feel like any time they try to address the Mark/Lexie stuff they do it so clumsily, which is disappointing. I definitely would like to see her focus on other things than her romances, that's for sure. But this is such a soapy show that it's hard for that to stick for a while.
I was also shocked that he took the fall for her. I am wondering what this means for the character in the long-term.
Alex and Meredith would be something brand new that they have never tried before and so I think that may be why it appeals to me.

I'm with you on the 'whatever' with Community. I really don't care anymore. Parks and Rec, however, has my heart and soul.

Parenthood did not have the gretest start. Still one of my favourites though.

And you're right about Lexie. It's a shame.
