I'm not in the fandom for the first one, but the second one is amazing. I loved this look into Richard's thoughts and emotions. It was interesting to see how Richard viewed his own immortality. The style is very interesting and effective, too.
Oh well thanks very much. I'm so glad I was able to offer some insight into Richard. Really appreciate that feedback. He's such an interesting character. Thanks again for reading! :)
As with the poster above me, I don't know much about the first fandom, but enjoyed your second story more than I thought I would, as I generally don't get in to the Alex & Richard pairing. Here, it makes its own kind of sense.
I also liked the way that Richard's agelessness was dealt with. When one thinks of a character that is immortal, it's easy to overlook the impact that the passage of time would have on their thoughts and memories. With a few simple sentences, you get a real sense of the sheer span of time that lies behind the Richard we know in the present.
I'm a big fan of Richard/Alex but I completely understand why people aren't. I appreciate you giving this a shot despite that, and I'm glad I was able to make it work. I think I think about how Richard feels about the whole thing far too often for my own good, haha. So I'm glad you think I handled that well. Much appreciate the feedback. Thank you! :)
I absolutely love your Galen/Sam! Generally, I can't stand slash, but there's just something about this pairing that I've never been able to resist. I would love to see more in that world. You should write more. ;-)
That Jacob/Richard fic is creepily awesome... if that can be taken as a compliment - it is one, honest!!! :) I've wanted to attempt a Richard fic for a while, but every time I think I might have enough of a grasp of his character to try it, one of you guys comes along and shows me that I have a lot of work to do before I get there! I'm certainly not complaining :) You don't fancy writing S6 do you????
I definitely take creepily awesome as a huge compliment. Thank you! And I really really encourage you to try your hand at Richard. I think there's definitely room for multiple interpretations.
Ahahah, I wish! That would be really cool. What would I do with such power in my hands?
