Well, the tickets have been bought, the reservations made, now I just have to settle in and wait for it to happen. Oh this is going to rock! I'd really like to compile a list of everyone's favorite David Lynch films. So far I've seen Lost Highway (a long time ago), Mulholland Dr (this past weekend), and Eraserhead (bits and pieces). I would be coming from Washington, so it looks like a ~5 hour drive (using Beckley, WV as my reference end point). Early May actually looks pretty good, and I'd be bringing my boy with me. I have to look at my calendar more and discuss it with the boy. If there's no interest from the Cincinnati crowd, I have some outdoorsy friends here that could be fun to invite if you want more of a group.

Know what's funny? My boy used to be an instructor at one of the places on the New River near Morgantown. But he was probably doing that before god was a boy (he's that ancient), so I don't know if any connections remain that could help. We would, however, have our own personal guide.

I wish I could go, but I can't. Sorry. :( The first weekend of the month is bad for me, because it's the weekend before class start and there's a lot of last minute stuff that needs to be done on the Saturday prior.

Also, if you notice my post had two dates on there, one being the first weekend the other being the second weekend in May. Let me know if you would be interested if we went on the second weekend.

Oh, I lied. I guess the original post said nothing of a second weekend in May possibility. However, it is NOW out there as an option. Carry on.

i wish i could go. i could use to get "out" as in the outdoors... i've always wanted to get out there to go rafting - but with my shoulders and all, it's really not something that's likely to ever be do-able for me. I hope you do get to go and that it's a blast though.
